Faux Fur For Humans. Real Fur For AnimalsKiyah and I have been working on a project for a few weeks now. We want to get the message across that animals need their fur. We chose an outfit with faux and yarn that matched Velveteen, our mini Rex. We ordered it and waited for it to arrive. We also had to choose a location to shoot in that would be safe for Velveteen if he managed to get away. He's pretty tame, but outdoors may have spooked him a bit. All turned out well and he was fine. I love how the photograph turned out. I plan on putting it on iStockphoto. Hopefully this portrait will save some animals.
