It's the first day of snow in Salt Lake City for 2012. I'm certainly getting into the Christmas spirit now! I know that Thanksgiving isn't even here yet but for parents, the Christmas spirit had better start long before Christmas unless we want to be scrambling at the last minute to make sure Santa has done his job.

We went outside and played in the snow. What fun! This is Trinity's first winter so she is rather excited to see the cold snow. We picked up a new foster dog yesterday and he was thrilled to be outside and away from that shelter. He was due to euthanized so even though I'm sure he didn't know that, he seems to be thrilled to be here.

Here is Trinity(black on the left), our rescue dog, Nala (little brown dog on the right), foster dog, and Dakota, middle, also a foster dog. They look like they're fighting but they're playing.

Am I lucky to have so many people and pals to play with or what?
