Drawing With IzobelIzobel, 11 years old, got a watercolor sketch book for Christmas. Since Michaels had a buy-one get-one sale, Santa brought me one too:) This morning we decided to draw something on the first page. Since it's watercolor paper we choose Caran d'Ache Neocolorii pastels, and Caran d'Ache Fancolor water color pencils. The pastels are water soluble too. Unfortunately Izobel drew on the thin paper that appears in the book just before the first watercolor page so she was unable to use water. She was a bit upset but decided to make the best of it. An hour later we were done.
I drew flowers.
Izobel drew her favorite subject, a wolf! It's really relaxing to just grab some art stuff and draw. We might turn this into an art journal thing. Thanks for stopping by! Karen (Mori) Comments
