Izobel and I had a virus for a few days. We called it the tired bug because we slept for about 48 hours. When we emerged from sleep and were able to stand again, I was quite surprised. It's one of those bugs that has you feeling so dead awful that you think you'll die from it. If it's possible to say getting sick has a good side, it's that once you feel good again you really appreciate it!

We were so happy that we decided to make a portrait. We both love this Christmas decoration and wanted to use it and see how fancy we could make it look. We're happy with the results. It took us a bit to get her hair just right though. I wish I was a hair dresser and may have to actually take some classes. I have been thinking about getting a certificate in make-up too. Where will I get all that time? Hm.
