Glad He Still Looks Like A TeenI can remember when he started to get that teen look. You know, pimples, oily skin, shaggy hair that he didn't want cut. I was a bit overwhelmed as it seemed he'd just weaned off the breast. But there he was, all gangly and teen-ish.
Now I can see he's starting to loose that teen look and I see that man look creeping in. Now I want the teen face to stay! But alas, it will be leaving soon.
I've been here before. My oldest turns 30 this year and he's loosing that young man look and looking more middle-aged. (I'm not even going to think about what look I'm starting to get)
We went to get his braces off today, but no such luck. They said 3 more months. I had taken a few photographs of him before we went into the office, thinking that this stage of his life would be over soon and he'd be brace-free. So here is his before-he-gets-his-braces-off portrait. Yes, I know, he's not smiling so you can't see his braces. Well, that not-wanting-to-smile thing comes right along with not-wanting-to-get-his-hair-cut thing.
You can see I am loosing:)
