Painting: Kiyah Wearing Her Kilt -Painting
Kiyah and I went to the Scottish festival last weekend. I am Scottish, I grew up there, ancestor all Scottish. Kiyah is 1/2 Scottish. We both love kilts and she has grown out of her current one so we looked for a kilt her size in the MacDuff tartan -my maiden name- at the festival, but couldn't find one. She really wanted a new kilt so we bought one, shown in the painting. On my to-do-list is to find her a MacDuff tartan one:) We went to Red Butte Gardens a few days ago and made a photograph of her in her outfit so I could paint it. We sure had fun at the festival and at Red Butte Gardens! Making memories with family and friends is the best thing in the world! Thanks for stopping by!
