Kiyah And CAWS Foster Kitten -Painting
Last winter we were fostering some kittens. They were found at the dump inside a machine. Their mother had been unfortunately killed so the babies needed help to survive. They were only three weeks old.
We decided to foster them, which required bottle feeding them around the clock. At first they hissed at us because they were feral. I tell you, there is nothing cuter than a tiny ball of fluff trying to scare you off with a barely audible hiss! Needless to say, we were not afraid, and it didn't take long before they decided I was mama and they ran to me for their bottle.
Around 12 weeks later they were ready to be adopted. We were so sad to see them go. We loved them and they loved us. They went to a great home though and I know they are having a wonderful life.
This all happened because of CAWS.org, the rescue that saved them.
Here is a painting of Kiyah and Emmaline, one of the kittens. Emmaline was about 4 weeks old.
Thanks for stopping by!
