Rescue Portraits December 2016Christmas is almost here! How did the year go so fast?
Last week I looked at 3250 photographs of my kiddos that I've made in the last decade. It was a sweet trip back in time. It was also a reminder that life goes way too fast. Kids grow up and adults get older. We really do need to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. Family and friends are everything!
Speaking of families. There are way too many homeless animals in need of homes. Something needs to be done to stop the careless pregnancy rate. Thousands of homeless and abandoned animals are euthanized every day in shelters. It's completely heartbreaking. Let's all make a resolution this year to help make even more changes so that stops. Speak more often about the situation. Help make people aware of the problem. Volunteer. Donate. Adopt, don't shop. Let's fix this.
Here are some of this month's rescue cats and dogs I photographed. Some have been adopted already, yeah! To see more cats and dogs that need homes head over to CAWS.org. Or look up rescue groups in your area. Check out shelters. PetFinder online is a great resource. Bring home your best friend for Christmas.
Happy holidays and thanks for stopping by! Karen (Mori) Comments
