When I was a child I wanted to be a dancer. I was on the dance team in high school. I was going to make dancing a career. I hurt my knees a few years later. End of dream. Not complaining. I love art and motherhood and wouldn't trade them for anything!

People are fascinated by ballet. The dancers move like gravity doesn't affect them. So graceful, every move is perfect. And can we talk about their muscles? I'd love to have those! Yes I know I could work out like they do but house work just doesn't do it. (excuses excuses) 

I found a ballet shoes photograph online and purchased a license from the photographer so I could use it as my source image. Thanks, welldoneteam! I had a blast making this illustration!

I'd love to take up old fashioned highland dancing.  I wonder if YouTube has some instruction. Going to check it out:-)
