I came across a book on Amazon a few days ago called The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate—Discoveries from a Secret World -Hardcover – September 13, 2016. By Peter Wohlleben.

I going to purchase the book, but in the meantime, I decided to illustrate a tree family.

The varying degrees of shading on the green leaves on the adults signify stages of wisdom. The lightest green being the youngest adult and therefor (often) means less wisdom. The small yellow tree is the child and of course is being protected and watched over by the adults. The apples mean  good health. The bird means freedom. The bunny illustrates innocence and the need of the child to be cared for. (We've had bunnies for pets and miss them dearly. They passed away from a nasty organism called E. Cuniculi last year)

I should make an illustration of my two bunnies. It's on the drawing idea list:)
