The dogs woke me up about 5:00 am this morning. They wanted to go potty. I grabbed my flashlight and walked them to the back door. It was still pitch black outside. As I opened the back door a creepy flood of fog lept into the house. It was as if the fog was trying to escape the fog. It came rushing in. The flashlight made it even creepier. Have you seen the movie, The Fog? It was like that. I didn't even realize it was foggy outside or I would have been prepared for it.  The dogs thought nothing of it and ran down the stairs to the frozen grass. Wish I was as brave.

A few hours later when it was nice and light outside I decided to head out and grab some frozen photographs. For you photogs out there, I used the Nikon D810 and the Nikon 60mm f2.8 micro -the older version.

I really don't like cold weather but it sure can create beautiful images.
