Paper Flowers and Izobel
Izobel and I love a black, and a black and white paper flower I made so we designed a photo shoot around it. We also included a teddy bear that I found at an antique shop. Since she turned 11 I've wanted to get a portrait of her with a toy to indicate the passing of that stage of her life. Teddy bears were her favorite. She recently gave them all away. It's beautiful, but it makes me tear up.
Keaton, big brother, came along to help. Izobel adores him and he adores her. I love how he helped get Izobel's hair how I wanted it. Below, after our final edited portraits, are two unedited take-outs. They show the fun, crazy side of creating the images.
Out-take: This one (below) shows how we got her hair to blow back off her face. See Keaton in the bottom right corner blowing air at her? It took a lot of shots to get it right. (It takes a lot of shots to get it right using other methods too) I have a fan and a hair blow dryer but they decided this was more entertaining. Don't worry though. I use the other options on clients.
Out-take: This time (below) we wanted her hair up in the air. Keaton tossed her hair and then ran out of the photo, or tried to. As you can imagine this caused a lot of giggles. We got what we wanted though, see three photos above, so it was well worth the work out:)
Thanks for stopping by!
